Sales Account Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective
The sales account manager helps to meet Roll-Lift USA’s customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. Work duties include relation management, crafting sales plans, setting bid strategies, negotiating and securing projects for Roll-Lift USA to be awarded.

Essential Functions

  1. Records keeping and resource coordination
  2. Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
  3. Set individual sales targets together with President Roll-Lift USA
  4. Prepare own sales database in Roll Group’s CRM application
  5. Speak to customers and plan appointments
  6. Understand the needs and expectations of the customers
  7. Accountable for sales inquiries
  8. Define bid strategy for potential jobs in corporation with RLUSA President, tendering manager, sales engineer and legal & insurance manager
  9. Cultivate effective business relations by phone calls, emails and face-to-face visits
  10. Corporate with engineering, legal, finance and operations department to ensure achievement of job objectives
  11. Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
  12. Attend trade meetings and industry conventions
  13. After sales management

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
While performing occasional duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to a variety of conditions at job sites such as airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position salary, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM including a one hour lunch break. Due to the nature of this position, flexibility is required for this schedule.

Travel
Traveling within North America is required.

Education and Experience
High school graduate required. Some college preferred with emphasis in business administration or equivalent.
Three years of previous related experience, heavy lifting and transportation background preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  1. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
  2. Possess a TWIC license or be able to acquire license if necessary
